Yggdrasil Gaming Announces Vikings Go Berzerk
A new game has been announced by developers from Yggdrasil Gaming, a pokie machine that will apparently follow in the steps of a game called Vikings Go Wild.
The Vikings Go Berzerk pokie will be a sequel to the popular 2015 title, which will feature much of the same type of graphics, but improved, and with new features added.
The theme is the same as before, inspired by Vikings that are fighting monsters. In this game it will be Sirens, while in the previous title it was a sea snake. The game will feature 25 paylines, will have 5×4 reels and it promises to be exciting, thanks to its features.
What We Love
I found the design of Vikings Go Berzerk to be one of the more appealing aspects of the game. You have four Viking warriors among its symbols, each one with its own background of a different color. The pokie also has the feature symbols, as well as low paying icons with four types of coins in them (green, copper, silver and gold made).
The reels look like they are carried on a longboat, with the two ends being sculpted to look like the ends of a dragon (head in front, tail in the back, both made out of metal).
There are wild symbols in the game, and they’re used quite extensively, especially if you can get certain Berzerk features to start up. A wild symbol will be used as a regular substitute, so you can expect extra paying combinations from the game, whenever these features are activated.
One major aspect of the gameplay is the way the Viking symbols are used. There are meters at the bottom of the screen, one for each of the four characters. Each time one of these Viking symbols takes part in a win, either in the base game or in the free spins, it will add to its own meter.
Once the meter is full, the game triggers for you 7 free spins, where the Viking that triggered is Berzerk and always turning into a wild.
There is even a Ragnarok feature, where the free spins have all the Vikings in Berzerk mode. You need the free spins to be triggered with help from three scatters though, if you want this part.
What We Do Not Like
Looks like a solid game so far, and I can’t wait to see everything it has to offer when it comes out, on November 24th.
Vikings Go Berzerk looks even better than the first game from the series, so I’m sure it will be quite popular among players.
