Yggdrasil Gaming Just Launched Wicked Circus Pokie Machine
Sooner or later, everyone has gotten spooked by a scary killer clown, whether his creeping up on the TV screen or just paying us a friendly visit in our dreams. This time he is coming to life on the reels designed by Yggdrasil Gaming and is scarier than ever.
That is scary in appearance, but also scary in payouts. Visually delusive as a classic 10 pay line, 5 reel pokie, this live circus act can leave a big grin on your face, when the big win logo hits the screen awarding wins of up to 600 x bet.
What We love
Since we have a dark and specific taste for video pokie games, the first detail we found attractive was the overall visual appearance of Wicked Circus. The theme is dark, the background music, as you spin the reels, is gruesome and those 5 Jokers laughing madly on the reels will play with your senses.
We all like pokie games that pay, but pokie games that pay both ways hold a much higher place in our heart and hopefully in our bankroll. As much as we love the base play payout potential, it is nothing like the Jokerizer mode.
The option to hold the Joker symbols in place brings a special twist in the overall game play, allowing you to make plans and tactics how to get the delusive Joker quintet on the reels.
What we Do not Like
Well we already said what we do like, which is pretty much everything, but we could add a few details that would make Wicked Circus a really great game.
The Joker trio during base play could land more often, or even once for now, because they just don’t seem to exists without the Jokerizer mode. One you enter the Jokerizer mode and make a decent win over 500 coins, you have to pack your bags, and start all over again leaving with the awarded win on your balance.
This is great because you end up earning a minimum 50 x bet win, but winning 600 coins and not getting a chance to chase more Joker symbols on the reels seems so unfair. Still these details are from a gamblers point of view, and if they were real we would be winning on this game too easy, but where’s the fun in that?
Is a circus show with 5 clowns worth watching? Definitely, unless you’re one of those grumpy guys who laugh at nothing. For real, why so serious? Lets analyze the game a bit from all points of view.
The maximum payout in a single spin is 600 x bet. This isn’t some incredible big win, but on the other hand leaving a game with extra $600 in your pocket is a good session in my book.
What’s more important here is how the game acts when you play for real. Well I can tell you that playing $10 bets and walking away with $3,000 in plus after an hour or so of spinning is a damn good hours salary. The Jokerizer mode can award big wins, even if they are 50 x bet and up.
They come often and as long as you use the Hold button on any chance you get, a few big wins are bound to happen. This way you can boost your balance big time without hitting the maximum payout. If you don’t, blame it on the Joker, after all he’s not the most reasonable person to rely on.
